Let's play Butterfly School!  Pillar is visiting his friend Ally.  Ally lives with her Grandma Judi and PopPop Ken.  While Grandma Judi makes a telephone call, PopPop Ken helps Ally and Pillar create beautiful butterfly sculptures from spruce cones! Everyone glues paper wings to the cones.  Pipe cleaners make wonderful antennae!  While the glue dries, everyone thinks of a name for the butterflies.		 Activities to Share

bulletMake pine cone butterflies!  Cut paper pine cone shapes from brown paper -- decorate with marker to show the texture of pine cone scales -- or use real pine cones.
