Make a great heart book from one sheet of paper. We love it for poetry & to say "I love you." It is also a fun invitation & a great place to store photos of special people, cats, etc. Be patient on steps 3 & 4. By your second book, it will be easier to divide the paper into three parts. 1. Hold 8 1/2 x 11" paper vertically. |
2. Fold paper in half (top to bottom). |
3. Begin to fold paper in even thirds, creating diagonal edges. |
4. Complete folding paper in 3 equal parts. You have two diagonal edges to form the bottom of the heart. | 5. Sketch lines to make the largest heart possible. Trim away upper right and upper left corners. | 6. This leaves you with a heart in many connected layers . . . |
7. unfold the connected heart shapes . . . |
8. separate pages by carefully cutting between 2 heart shapes. Then, begin folding the hearts back & forth, as you would fold a paper fan... |
9. You now have a six-page heart book! Great for poetry, drawings, collages & more. A super card when you want something unique for a special person! |
