Let's play Butterfly School!   Today is March 9th.  Let's count to 9:  1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.  Inez the butterfly is helping her friend Alphie.  Alphie loves the iris flowers in his flower book.  Iris flowers can be white or purple.  Some have yellow stripes!  Each friend has a letter "i" card.  Alphie's is lowercase.  Inez has an uppercase "I."  I sounds like "eye" in iris, Inez and ice.  Ice is very cold!  Sometimes "i" has a short sound like "ih" in:  inch, into, in and itch!  		 Activities to Share
