Let's play Butterfly School!  "M" is for mixing!  Let's say "M"  --  "mmm" -- "mixing."  Today Sasha and Rachel are mixing a batch of dough.  They will use dough tomorrow to make someone a special gift!  To mix dough they stir a spoon around and around their bowl.  As Rachel finishes pouring in water, Sasha mixes the water with the other ingredients, like flour and salt.  We mix many things, like soup.  Let's pretend to mix something! bulletSay the date; discuss the weather.
bulletShare a bowl and spoon.  Practice mixing air or water.
bulletMake pretend soup.  Cut out vegetables from colorful paper to mix in a stainless steel bowl.
