Talk Dixie is drinking nectar from a flower. Butterflies have long hollow tongues like straws. They use their tongues to drink sweet nectar and water. When not in use, the butterfly's tongue curls up into a roll. We also drink to stay healthy. When we feel thirsty we can drink water or juice. We can even drink through straws like a butterfly's tongue! Let's stick out our tongues and wiggle them! |
