Bunny's Birthday Wish
A Bunny Wish Story

One morning the Bright Pink Bunny woke up and said, "I'm ready for my birthday!" The other bunnies said, "But, it isn't time for your birthday yet."

The Bright Pink Bunny wondered, "If I wish for my Birthday to hurry up, will it get here sooner?" The other bunnies smiled. The Bright Orange Bunny said, "You just have to be patient and wait until it really is your birthday." The Bright Green Bunny added, "Wishing might be a fun thing to do while you are waiting."

Then the Bright Green Bunny asked, "Why did you want your birthday to be right now?" The Bright Pink Bunny said, "I am ready for a fun party. I feel happy and I want to celebrate!" The other bunnies smiled. They felt happy too. The sun was shining. Flowers were blooming. The grass smelled sweet.

Then the Bright Orange Bunny said, "I have an idea. Let's celebrate spring right now!" The Bright Green Bunny said, "Yes, let's celebrate the warm air, and the flowers that are blooming all around the garden!" The Bright Pink Bunny agreed, "We'll have a special spring party today!"

The Bright Bunnies gathered around a beautiful flower and danced a May dance! They sang a spring song of happiness while they danced. They twirled and swirled until they were all laughing together.

When they felt tired from their dance, the Bright Bunnies shared some special spring cake. The cake was sweet and delicious.

The cake was decorated with little frosting bunnies dancing around a flower! The frosting tasted like sweet carrots.

The Bright Bunnies played a game of Bunny Wishes. Each made a wish. The Bright Pink Bunny wished for a birthday party with its friends, a cake with candles and party hats.
