Today is March 1st.  Happy March!  In Butterfly School, Alphie and Bettie celebrate the first letter of the alphabet, "a."  They look for "a" flowers in their new seed catalog!  Alphie finds "asters" and Bettie finds "astilbe" (ah-still-bee).  Asters have a small center and many thin loopy petals in bright pink or purple.  Astilbe has lots of tiny flowers arranged on thin feathery stems.  Astilbe is white, pink or red.  Let's trace the "a"s!
