Picture Talk Dentist Visit 6
Let's play Butterfly School at the dentist's office. Dr. Tooth wants to see an x-ray of Tippy's teeth. An x-ray shows a very clear picture of our bones and teeth. Tinker helps Tippy put on a special cover for safety. The x-ray machine will only take a small picture of Tippy's teeth. While the machine takes the picture, Tippy steps out of the room for safety. When the x-ray is ready, Dr. Tooth will check each tooth to look for cavities or cracks that need to be filled.

Activities to Share

	Say the date; discuss the weather.
	Trace your hand and sketch in the finger bones!
	Point to the location of other bones: feet, arms, legs & skull.
	Make a pretend x-ray with a black construction paper base and white paper bones.
